New Suzukis for sale

The Splash, which is basically a Vauxhall Agila, is the most modern new Suzuki sold in the UK. The only slightly jarring note with this funky, spacious and economical supermini is its £9k start price. Slightly cheaper – and certainly sportier – is the chunky little Swift, which offers a sparky drive alongside excellent value, with only one model costing more than £10.5k. For the top Suzuki deal on this model go for the £9.5k 1.5 GLX for the best mix of speed, standard equipment and mid-40s economy. The long-serving Jimny 4x4 is cute and performs well off road, but is too compromised off it to justify its £10k price. The SX4 SUV is much more credible and contemporary, with real ability in the £13k 1.6 VVT GLX 4Grip model. The Grand Vitara may be getting on a bit now, but at less than £13k new it’s good value for a 5-door, 5-seat 4x4. One more Suzuki to watch out for will be the Indian-built Alto supermini which goes on sale in spring.
